Zembani Band dancing queen Jane Khongwa on Saturday tied a knot with her longtime lover Harold kachepatsonga at Balaka Anglican Church in the eastern region.
The reception took place at the Balaka Stadium where Lucius Banda, founder of Zembani Band and United Democratic Front (UDF) Member of Parliament for Balaka north was in attendance.
The wedding was graced by numerous artists namely Nepman, Sam Smak and the whole Zembani Band crew.
Writing on his official facebook page, Banda could not hide his happiness.
“Today I will witness my daughter Jane Anije Khongwa getting officially married to the love of her life Harold kachepatsonga. It’s been exactly 17 years since I took her into zembani band.
“I am proud that what people think about female entertainers like dancers has been proven wrong…. There goes my dota into a decent married life…congrants Mr and Mrs kachepatsonga,” wrote Banda.
Apart from dancing, Nkhongwa is also a businesswoman in Balaka.
