Information sourced by faceofmalawi indicates that a mental examination report for self-styled supreme leader of People’s Land Organization (PLO) Vincent Wandale will be delivered on Monday in the Lilongwe Magistrate Court.
Wandale was arrested on October 29, 2017 and charged with a case of spreading force rumours that there shall be a ceremony to proclaim Mulanje and Thyolo districts an independent state.
On October 31, Wandale appeared before the Lilongwe Magistrate Court where the State prosecutor applied to Court for mental examination on him and the presiding magistrate agreed with the call.
According to Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS) report, the prosecuting team will provide a mental examination report on Monday.
The court shall also hear Wandale’s bail application on the day.
