Alliance for Democracy (AFORD) President Enock Chihana has accused Karonga Central Member of Parliament Frank Tumpale Mwenifumbo of bringing confusion in the Party.

Chihana said this today when answering questions to the press on the divisions rocking the party ahead of the December convention.

Chihana blamed Mwenifumbo on the fracas.

“Yesterday I called for the management meeting but to my surprised Mwenifumbo brought in intruders and I asked them to leave.

“Mwenifumbo is a political vendor who has moved from one party to another and he now wants to bring confusion in the party by bringing in intruders,” said Chihana.

Chihana blamed Mwenifumbo on the fracas.

On Monday, Chihana’s bodyguards beat up the party’s secretary General Christopher Ritchie and regional governor for the centre Nicholas Kamoto during an emergency meeting held at at Byte Lodge in Area 47.
