Driver sustains serious injury in head-on car crash in Rumphi

Report confirmed that there is a head-on collision this morning near Bwengu trading centre in Rumphi (along Mzuzu – Karonga road) involving a Toyota Axio and Nissan UD.
According to source, the lorry (Nissan UD) left it’s lane and ended up colliding with Toyota Axio which was coming from an opposite direction.
The driver of Toyota Axio escaped with injuries while driver of the lorry escaped unhurt.
