Chakuamba’s wife body to arrive in Malawi on Friday next week, burial on December 24

The body of veteran politician late Gwanda Chakuamba’s wife Mrs. Raima Gwanda Chakuamba is expected to be repatriated to Malawi on Friday next week, December 22, 2017.
This has been revealed in a press statement released on Monday by Chief Secretary to government Lloyd Muhara made available to faceofmalawi.
Raima Zaina Fatch succumbed to stroke Sunday morning at Vatos Health Care in Duluth, Georgia, in the United States of America.
“The remains of Mrs Chakuamba are expected to be flown into the country by Friday, December 22, 2017 and burial is planned for Sunday, December 24, 2017. Details about funeral programme will be announced in due course,” reads in part the statement.
She is survived by a daughter and five grandchildren.
Her death comes a year after the death of her husband at Adventist Hospital in Blantyre.
