Former Malawi Congress Party (MCP) member Chatinkha Chidzanja Nkhoma was today sported at the official launch of China-Africa Textile Project graced by President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika in Salima Central Constituency.

The development comes barely a week after Chidzanja Nkhoma announced her resignation from MCP accusing the Party President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera of being undemocratic.

As this was not enough, Chidzanja Nkhoma burnt down all MCP regalia attracting debate on social media with many people accusing her of going overboard.

The function was also graced by former opposition People’s Party (PP) Acting President Uladi Mussa and former MCP lawmaker Felix Jumbe who also resigned from the party few weeks ago.

Speaking at the event DPP’s Secretary General Greseider Jeffrey wa Jeffrey recognized the presence of the three, saying the Party will soon organized the rally to officially welcome them.

On his part Mutharika described Jumbe as a fearless man hence his firing in MCP.

Mutharika went further by labeling MCP as a crocodile Party attracting ululations from party supporters especially youth cadets who attended the function.
