A 15 year old girl is reported dead while a boy sustained injuries in separate road accidents in Chikwawa after being hit by vehicles along the Blantyre-Chikwawa road yesterday afternoon.
The deceased girl has been identified as Rhoda Dunga.
Dunga met her fate at Maseya Village near Mthumba Bridge while the boy was hit near Kamuzu Bridge and is receiving treatment at the district hospital.
According to the police report made available to faceofmalawi reporter, the deceased sustained serious head injuries which resulted to her death.
The death brings the number of those killed in road accidents to three in a space of one week in Chikwawa district.
