Two men in Lilongwe identified as Joseph Boidi (26) and Owen William (25) have been arrested for murdering a 22-year-old man.
According to Kanengo police spokesperson Laban Mkalani, the suspects are believed to have severely assaulted Iginasiyo Sande during an incident which took place on 18th march in area 49.
Reports say after the assault, the victim died some six days later and hence that led an investigation to bring to book his murder suspects.
A post Morten which was done at Kamuzu Central Hospital showed that the deceased died due to injuries inflicted to him by the suspects.
Meanwhile, the two are being kept at Kanengo Police Station as they wait to appear before court to answer the charge of murder under section 209 of the penal code.
The deceased hailed from Maluphya village, T/A Ngabu in Chikwawa while the suspects, Boidi hails from Chipumi village, T/A Nduwa in Mchinji and William from Mcheneka village, T/A Kachere in Dedza.
