Police in Ngabu are still on investigation to arrest more people who torched a vehicle and destroyed the house of a businessman suspected to have attempted to steal a baby.
The victim has been identified as Mavuto Jamario who is a businessperson at Ngabu Trading Centre.
Reports say in the wee hours of 9th April, community members heard voice from the house of a certain family screaming for help saying that there were people who wanted to steal their baby.
When the community members got to the scene, they managed to apprehend one person.
It is also alleged that the community members found Jamario’s vehicle at the scene who they have for so long been suspecting to have been exhuming dead bodies with the aim of stealing body parts.
The situation prompted the mob to burn down Jamario’s vehicle and also destroyed his house and properties.
Meanwhile, police In Ngabu have already apprehended 32 people in connection to the incident as the investigation is still on going.
