A 34-year-old man in Lilongwe has been killed and dumped into a stream by unknown criminals while coming from beer.
Police at Chigwirizano have confirmed of the incident and identified the deceased as Mr pasikale.
A relative to the deceased, Mr. Steven Chisinga told the police that on Wednesday, the deceased went to a certain house in the same village of Mwanamanga, T/A Malili to quench his first with beer.
At around 10 o’clock in the evening, the deceased decided to go home but he did not reach his house until he was found the next day floating in a narrow river.
Police were called to the scene together with medical personnel and retrieved the dead body for a postmortem which revealed the man was murdered.
Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation to apprehend suspects linked to the murder.
Pasikale hailed from Mwanamanga village in the area of traditional authority Malili in Lilongwe.
