A Zambian actor who is featured in the box office hit Black Panther has issued an apology after news surfaced online that he is a gay.
X rated Pictures of Patrick Shumba emerged over the weekend thereby attracting critics who described the African celebrated Hollywood actor as an embarrassment to the African community.
The Atlanta based actor who last month toured his home country Zambia and treated to VIP reception by the Zambian government said he was sorry for his actions which he said happened when he was a “young man.”
In a statement issued by his publicist, the actor said he has grown and learned from his past as “we all do.”
“I have grown and learned from my past as we all do. Although i do recognize my wrong decision, i do own up to the immature behavior in my past.
“I temporarily closed down my social media accounts only because I know there are children engaged with me and I know they should not witness such explicit content. I therefore ask people to refrain from sharing the video on social media as it may end up into the eyes of children,” goes part of the statement.
Mutukwa has two roles in Black Panther being, a border Tribe warrior plus a dialect and accents assistant.
