Alliance for Democracy (AFORD) President Enock Chihana is today holding the party’s convention, faceofmalawi can reveal.
Speaking during a press briefing this morning, Chihana disputed yesterday’s election results in which Frank Mwenifumbo emerged as the winner.
Chihana says he did not open the convention hence there was no convention yesterday but rather the convention is on today.
“I suspended the convention on security reason and that delegates were starving,” said Chihana.
Chihana has since described Mwenifumbo as “primitive”.
He went further by asking his opponent Frank Mwenifumbo who is also Member of Parliament for Karonga Central to form his own party.
