According to National Police spokesperson, James Kadadzera, the suspects will answer various charges from conspiring to murder and others will face murder charges as per the role they played in the killing of 22-year-old Masambuka.

““We have now arrested 22 people who we suspect took part in the abduction and killing of Masambuka in March… Some are suspected to have conspired to murder; some are being charged with murder,” Kadadzera said.

Kadadzera said police have since opened four files for those alleged to have been involved in the murder, adding that the files have since been left in the hands of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
