Traditional Authority Mpando of Ntcheu endorses Mutharika

Traditional Authority Mpando of Ntcheu has endorsed President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika as Presidential candidate for the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) in the forthcoming tripartite election in 2019.

The endorsement comes barely days after Malawians criticized Paramount Chief Ngolongoliwa for meddling in politics.

Chief Ngolongoliwa recently intervened in the squabbles rocking the ruling DPP where he asked those advocating for Saulos Chilima to be the party President led by Patricia Kaliati and Bon Kalindo to publicly apologize.

But Kaliati publicly rejected the calls.

Speaking during a rally organized by Member of Parliament for Ntcheu West Mwai Kamuyambeni yesterday, said T/A Mpando is looking forward to seeing President Mutharika ruling this country for a second term.

Meanwhile President Mutharika the party is not up for sell.
