Blantyre Magistrate Court on Thursday released on bail private practice lawyer David Kanyenda.
Kanyenda was arrested on Wednesday by the Fiscal Police at Chileka International Airport in the commercial capital Blantyre for allegedly swindling client’s money.
Lawyer for Kanyenda, Chancy Gondwe confirmed of the development in an interview with the press but did not divulge more information on the matter.
This is the second arrest for Kanyenda within a space of three months.
The same fiscal police also arrested Kanyenda in March for allegedly embezzling Mk5.8 million money for a client.
