Youth Cadets of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) continues to wreak havoc in the country with the recent incident being the attack of a vendor putting on Malawi Congress Party (MCP) regalia in the commercial capital Blantyre.
In a video clip circulation on the social media seen by faceofmalawi reporter, one of the DPP youth cadets identified as Isaac Jomo Osman is seen forcibly asking a vendor to remove the MCP shirt he was putting on.
Osman who is also one of the suspect in the murder of a 4th year student at Polytechnic Robert Chasowa threatening to take unspecified action if found again putting on MCP in regalia while selling his products in the market.
“Ichi usazamvalenso wamva?. Ukumva….? Ichi usazavalenso ngati ukufuna uzizagulitsila zinthu zako muno wamva?” Osman is quoted as saying in the video clip while blindfolding the vendor with the MCP regalia.
The clip has attracted mixed reactions with many questioning the conduct of Osman.
