His Majesty King Letsie III of the Kingdom of Lesotho is today expected to visit former Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President John Zenus  Ungapake Tembo amid death rumours.

King Letsie arrived in the country on Monday through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) and held talks with President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.

Tembo confirmed of the development in an interview with Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS), saying it’s an honor to him.

“Yes I can confirm to you that King Letsie will pay me a visit today and am very grateful for that,” said Tembo.

When asked as to how he is spending his day considering the fact that he is no longer in active politics at the moment, Tembo said he spend most of his time watching the 2018 FIFA World Cup currently under way in Russia.

Tembo retired from frontline politics before the 2014 tripartite election which saw President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika emerging victorious.
