Speaker Richard Msowoya resigns from MCP

Speaker of the National Assembly Richard Msowoya has resigned from the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) with immediate effect, faceofmalawi can reveal.
Msowoya disclosed this in a media briefing currently underway in the capital Lilongwe.
According to Msowoya, he will now continue serving the people of Karonga Nyungwe as an independent Member of Parliament.
