Rescuers in Thailand have finally managed to rescue a soccer team of 12 boys and their coach after they got trapped in a flooded cave last month in June.
The rescue mission has taken rescuers 17 days after the Wild Boars soccer team got trapped in the cave on 23rd June 2018 when rising floodwater cut off the exit, deep inside the cave.
The twelfth boy and his coach were the last of the team to be rescued today, Tuesday after a complicated three-day operation to extricate the team.
Hundreds of experts from all around the world flew to Thailand in a bid to help the team off the cave.
The parents of the boys maintained a constant vigil outside the cave praying for the boy’s safe return.
