President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika and the Country’s first lady on Tuesday took their time in cheering Arthur Peter Jnr, a boy named after him in Nkhata-bay.
The boy was born on May 31, 2016, the day President Mutharika was officially opening the new Nkhata Bay District Hospital.
The development excited Mutharika who named the child Arthur Peter Jnr and he promised to support the child.
On July 10, 2018, the child and the mother were at Mpamba attending the rally after the opening of the Mzuzu – Nkhata Bay Road.
President Mutharika and the First Lady were overjoyed seeing Arthur Peter Jr and gave him a few gifts.
