The Enock Chihana camp of the Alliance for Democracy (Aford) is seeking legal help over the leadership wrangles in the party.

Aford is considered to have two leaders as both Frank Mwenifumbo and Enock Chihana claim to be legitimate presidents respectively.

This follows the outcome of the party convention held in May this year where the two camps agreed to disagree on how conduct the convention.

The development resulted in the two camps electing its own President.

Lawyer of the Chihana camp Gilbert Khonyongwa confirmed of taking the matter to court.

According to Nkhonyongwa, it is wise to know before-hand who will be the party’s torch bearer at the 2019 polls.

Effort to talk to Mwenefumbo’s camp proved futile.
