A Zambian woman has been left homeless after her irate ex-husband allegedly burnt down her house to ashes, Zambianobserver reports.
Police commissioner at Luapula province, Eliasi Chushi has identified the suspect as peter, 54 of Muntu village, Chief Sonkontwe’s chiefdom.
Police gathered that property worth 7000 Zambian kwacha was destroyed and undisclosed amount of cash was burnt to ashes.
Meanwhile, police in the country have launched a manhunt against the suspect who fled after committing the crime.
No life was claimed during the incident.
