Thousands of Malawians from all walks of life are flocking to Ulumba Village in the eastern district of Zomba to pay their last respect to departed well-known gospel singer Lloyd Million Mainuka of ‘Chinjoka’ hit maker.

Mainuka died on Tuesday evening at Kamuzu Central Hospital (KCH) in the capital Lilongwe due to high blood pressure, according to information sourced by faceofmalawi reporter.

The death of Mainuka has taken the social media by storm with many people especially musicians expressing their shock on the untimely death of the gospel singer.

Musician cum-song writer Khama Khwiliro expressed shock over the untimely death of Mainuka.

“To a departed soul of a brother in music. I will remember you always, how we fought together for the welfare of Malawian artists @ Cosoma Meetings. This is where I got to know you personally. A Man full of vigour and vision. Heaven has gained. Till we meet again Lloyd Million Mainuka….Rest well bro,” wrote Khwiliro.

Mainuka is survived by a wife and Children.
