A 20-year-old man in Lilongwe has committed suicide by hanging himself to death on Wednesday, 05 September in Lilongwe for reasons known to himself.
Lameck Nowa was found hanging dead in uncompleted house in area 47 sector 5.
According to Police report, the deceased went missing on the night of 4th September from his place of work in the same area of 47 sector 5 plot number 360, where he was working as a garden boy.
Before he committed the crime, he wrote a suicide note in which he pleaded with his employer’s son to take care of his son’s school fees.
No proper reason was indicated in the suicide note as to why he committed the suicide.
Nowa hailed from Nguluwe village, T/A Malili District Lilongwe.
Meanwhile, Police have urged the public to desist from such crimes saying committing suicide is not a solution but rather creating another problem to those who were depending on you, and if there are differences, need for proper resolution should be there.
