The United Transformation Movement (UTM) is scheduled to hold its much awaited national elective convention on November 9, 2018.
UTM Secretary General Patricia Kaliati disclosed this in an interview with the press on Tuesday after the National Governing Council (NGC) meeting held at Ufulu Gardens in the capital Lilongwe.
According to Kaliati, the venue for the convention will be announced later.
Apart from reviewing the work done since the launch of UTM in May this year, delegates to the meeting also elected district and regional champions to spearhead the movement’s convention.
Some of the notable faces present at the caucus includes; Speaker of the National Assembly Richard msowoya, former first lady Callista Mutharika, leader of the movement Dr. Saulos Chilima, Richard Makondi, UTM’s chairperson Noel Masangwi and many more
