Well known comedian Eric Mabedi, popularly known as Jakobo is in need of MK20 million to undergo a Kidney transplant in India, faceofmalawi can reveal.
According to information at hand, Mabedi is currently using Dialysis Machine and is admitted at Mwaiwathu Private Hospital in the commercial capital Blantyre.
Spokesperson for a grouping calling itself friends of Eric Mabedi, Higah Mkandawire confirmed of the development in an interview with Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS).
According to Mkandawire, the grouping is soliciting funds from well-wishers to help Mabedi undergo Kidney Transplant in India following an advice from a Doctor at Mwaiwathu Hospital.
He said Mabedi’s condition is worsening hence the plea.
