Mzuzu was hit by hailstorm last night and at least 20 houses and a temporal shelter at a primary school in Zolozolo have been damaged.
The damage could be more. Councilor for Zolozolo East Stafford Khunga confirmed of the development in an interview with Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS).
According to Khunga, the affected families need urgent assistance as they have no food and shelter.
