US First Lady Melania Trump is expected to arrive in the country today through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in the capital Lilongwe.
Melania Trump will be welcomed by the country’s first lady Gertrude Mutharika who had to cut short her trip to the US where she escorted her husband, President Peter Mutharika to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Mrs Trump is on her first solo trip to Africa.
The US First lady is also expected to visit Kenya and Egypt.
During the trip, the US First Lady will focus in promoting Health and Education.
