Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that death toll in the minibus accident that happen on Tuesday in Zomba has risen to 4.
Zomba Police Public Relations Officer Patricia Supiliano confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
Supiliano said the fourth person died while receiving treatment at Zomba Central Hospital this morning.
Three people died on the scene of the accident on Tuesday evening following a head-on collision involving a minibus belonging to Paseli of Ndilande and a freghtliner truck at six miles.
The minibus had 16 passengers on board and the minibus was coming from Mangochi heading to Blantyre.
Meanwhile the police are hunting the driver of the truck who is currently at large.
