DOWA – Cases of sexual assault against children in the district continue to make headlines with the arrest of medical officer suspected to have sodomised four underaged boys.
The suspect is currently in police custody at Mponela Police Station, according to sources.
Sodomy is punishable by law as stipulated in Section 153(a) of the Penal Code.
The matter follows arrest of a police office alleged to have defiled a girl in a cell at Chesepo Police Unit.
