Death has been announced of former Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) Governor Mathews Chikaonda, faceofmalawi can reveal.
Chikaonda died in a hospital in United States of America after a long illness.
One of the family members, Hyacinta confirmed of the development in an interview with press, saying funeral details will be communicated later.
Chikaonda also served as Chief Executive Officer at the dual-listed conglomerate Press Corporation Limited (PCL).
