Chipembezo Chamakolo Achikuda has elected the new Office Executive Committee for Southern region at a function held at its headquarters in Machinjiri, Blantyre.
The newly elected executive committee members are chairperson zangaphe Chimombo with his vice Elson Soko, Petro Beaton Mashalubu is General Secretary while Boston Nyangayabila is the Treasure General and committee members are Ndaona James Njoka, Issac Mkwate, sayini , Matemba and Sanyo.
Speaking after the elections newly elected chairperson Zangaphe Chimombo said apart from electing the new Executive committee the two day meeting was also aimed at pouring libation (sacrifice) which is annual events.
”Our main purpose of the gathering was to elect new members who will be in the office for two years and to sacrifice and to advise our members not to stop praying for Chipepezo cha Makolo Achikuda and not to follow foreign religion,’’ he said.
The Tate of Chipembezo chamakolo A chikuda is Fred Kwacha of Khulubvi Lodge along Chileka in Blantyre.
