State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima left the country on Tuesday for Dubai where he is scheduled to attend the Africa Investment Conference.
The conference has been organized by Africa Legal Network, an alliance of leading African legal firms from 16 African countries.
A statement from the vice president’s office says Chilima is going to the conference at the invitation of former Prime Minister of Mali, Dr. Cheick Modibo Diarra who is chairperson of the Network.
United Transformation Movement (UTM) Members led by its Secretary General Patricia Kaliati escorted Chilima at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in the capital Lilongwe.
