Death has been announced of Senior Chief Somba of Blantyre.
Senior Chief Somba died in the wee hours of of Wednesday, 7 November, 2018 at Mlambe Hospital where he was admitted.
His daughter Clossie confirmed of the development in an interview with one of the local radion stations in the country.
Somba had been admitted at the hospital following a stroke he had suffered. Burial arrangements will be known later.
Senior Chief Somba has died at the age of 70.
