Senior Chief Somba of Blantyre will laid to rest this coming Friday at his family home in Group Village Somba 1 in Soche.
This has been confirmed in a statement released by Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development made available to faceofmalawi.
Senior Chief Somba whose names were George Suwedi Somba died in the early hours of Wednesday 7th November, 2018 at Mulambe Mission Hospital.
Late Senior Chief Somba was born in 1937 and died at the age of 81.
The late Chief was installed on 26th June 1996 and got promoted as Senior Chief in 2012.
He is survived by a Wife, 6 Children and 30 grand children.
