The shadow Parliamentarian for Blantyre South constituency West Elliot Makhamba- Phiri said when he will voted into power in 2019 tripartite elections he will bring more development by constructing bridges, school blocks, wells providing portable water just to mention but a few.

Speaking in an interview Elliot Makhamba-Phiri said despite that he is not incumbent Member of Parliament for the area he is developing the constituency by paying school fess to the needy students, buying candles to the students during their studies so that they can pass exams with fouling colours, sponsoring tournament providing coaches and references so that the area can produce best players who can play in Super Leagues and national team.

“My main focus is to develop the constituency by providing portable water, road network infrastructure, drilling wells, helping the needy and elderly, orphans and paying school fees to the needy students,” he said.

Ellioat Makhamba-Phiri also said he will stand as an MP for the area after being asked by the people and the chiefs of the community to do so.

He is optimistic that he going to win in this forth coming tripartite elections and we will stand as independent.
