Police Arrests Young Man for Selling Voters Registration Certificate in Balaka

First Grade Magistrate Felix Mandala, on Monday sentenced 21-year-old Tiyanjane Frank to three years imprisonment for attempting to sell his voters registration certificate at K20 000 in violation of Section 98 (1) [i] of Electoral Laws.
He was arrested on 27th October, this year at Utale Trading Centre after a would-be customer alerted the police, who later arrested him after admitting the crime.
Frank hails from Chiwere Village in the area of Traditional Authority Mlumbe in Zomba.
