Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates a group of rastafarians are staging protests at the Civic Office in the commercial capital Blantyre.

The borne of contention is that they want Rasta children to be allowed to attend classes without removing their dreadlocks.

At the moment, learners in public primary and Secondary schools are not allowed by law to attend classes while in dreadlocks.

The development force Rastas children to attend private schools.
