Opposition MPs in Parliament are not impressed with retaining of ministers Nomvula Makonyane and Bathabile Dlamini in President Cyril Ramaphosa reshuffled Cabinet.
‘The president is not in charge of his own party’
Although there was mixed reaction from MPs, Dlamini’s name surfaced frequently.
Ramaphosa appointed Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams as communications minister and announced the merger of that portfolio with the telecommunications and postal services next year. She has been tasked with overseeing both portfolios.
Makonyane is the new minister of environmental affairs and Siyabonga Cwele has been appointed as minister of home affairs.
