Immigration To Deport 42 Migrants

The department of Immigration is expected to deport over 42 illegal migrants who were arrested a month ago for illegally mining gold in Namizimu Forest in Mangochi District.
Eastern Region Immigration Department Publicist, Chilungamo Gideon Kapulula said that out of the 42, 31 are Mozambicans and 11 are Tanzanian nationals.
“We will start deporting the illegal migrants on Wednesday following discussions with Mozambican and Tanzanian embassies” Kapulula added.
