Police in Thyolo have arrested a 27 year old man for allegedly being found in possession of 42 coupons for this year’s Farm Input Subsidy Program (FISP).

Thyolo Police Spokesperson Amos Tione confirmed of the arrest and identified the suspect as Morgan Ngoleka.

According to Tione, Ngoleka was arrested on Sunday at Mangunda in the district on suspicion of causing a road accident.

But after searching him, Ngoleka was found with the coupons meant for beneficiaries in Thyolo, Chiradzulu and Mulanje.

The suspect will appear in court soon.
