The burial of Chief Chikulamayembe will take place this coming Tuesday at his Bolero headquarters in Rumphi, faceofmalawi can reveal.
Chikulameyembe’s burial was supposed to take place yesterday Sunday, December 2, 2018 but the programme changed at the 11th hour.
Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development confirmed of the development in a statement seen by faceofmalawi reporter.
Paramount Chief Chikulamayembe, who was born Walter John Hardy Gondwe, died around 9:00pm on 29th November 2018 at Mzuzu Central hospital. Reports from the hospital indicate that the Chief, succumbed to low blood pressure.
Paramount chief Chikulamayembe was born on 24th March 1932 and was installed as Traditional Authority in 1978.
He is survived by a wife, 5 children and 12 grand children.
