Man Bags 15 Years IHL over Sex with Pregnant Goat

A Kasama High Court in neighbouring country of Zambia has sentenced a 22 year old man who had carnal knowledge of a pregnant goat to fifteen years imprisonment with hard labour.

Particulars of the offence were that on 2nd November 2018 Reuben Mwamba, of Mutono Village had carnal knowledge of a she goat contrary to section 155 (b) of the penal code chapter 87 of the laws of Zambia.
Mwamba was sentenced to five years imprisonment with hard labour by a separate court, after he pleaded guilty.
But yesterday, Ndola based Judge, Justice Emeria Sunkutu who is sitting in the Kasama High Court, quashed the earlier sentence of five years imprisonment and replaced it with fifteen years imprisonment with hard labour when the matter came for judicial review pursuant to section 338 subsection one of Chapter 88 of the Penal Code of the Laws of Zambia.
