Medicinal Cannabis Cultivation Bill motion adopted

LILONGWE – Malawi is on the move to legalise cultivation of medicinal cannabis after Parliament on Thursday, adopted motion to draft the Cannabis Cultivation Bill motion.
Legislator for Ntchisi North Boniface Kadzamira brought the motion on the floor which was adopted. The House asked the legislator to draft a bill, whose objective is to distinguish medicinal cannabis from criminalised Indian hemp.
