Multichoice Malawi has promised to support the local filmmakers so that they can get their content aired on DStv.

The promise was made by the General Manager of Multichoice Malawi Gus Banda at the Bingu International Convention Center in Lilongwe at their year-end showcase

Banda said that they will keep on bringing several investments in their creative economics to young people and their industry which in so doing reinforcing their commitment to making a difference in the filmmaking industry and there by enriching lives.

“The future African storytellers have benefited from the Multichoice Talent which was launched in May this, in fact, the year ahead looks promising as we attempt to localise the Multichoice brand, encouraging and supporting the local filmmakers to get their content on Zambezi Magic (Channel on DStv) amongst other local investment highlights. We are committed to showcasing the best African content across the continent. The digital age means we are in a position to take African stories to the world and create a global market for what we do,” said Banda

He continued by saying their aim isn’t only to understand what the future holds, but also meaningfully contribute to shaping it for the better.
