Incumbent Member of Parliament for Phalombe North Constituency Anna Kachikho has lost the primary elections to a newcomer.
The ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) conducted the primaries in the constituency today.
According to a video clip circulation on the social media seen by faceofmalawi reporter, Kachikho who once served as Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development is seen alone on the queue while her challenger is seen with a long queue.
Kachikho is also seen looking at her challenger’s long queue.
