A man who used to proclaim himself as the son of the late President Dr Hastings Kamuzu Banda has died at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) in Blantyre after a short illness.
According to Pastor James Mwanyongo who was always near Mr Juman, the deceased had yesterday complained of not feeling good hence he was taken to Mlambe Hospital where he was referred to QECH at around 11:00 pm yesterday.
It is this morning, 26th January that doctors at the said hospital confirmed that Mr Juman had breathed his last.
It is reported that Mr Juman was residing in Lilongwe but he recently visited Pastor Mwanyongo who was a close friend and also the man who used to speak on behalf of him.
However, it is not clear if the body of the deceased will be laid to rest in Kasungu, the home district of late Kamuzu Banda as it is known that Kamuzu’s family had been rejecting Mr Juman as the son of late President.
Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been deposited at the mortuary at QECH.
