The burial of Jumani Johansson, a man who claimed to be the son to Malawi’s founding President Hastings Kamuzu Banda, will take place this coming weekend in the ever green city of Mzuzu, faceofmalawi can reveal.
Johansson died suddenly at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in the commercial capital Blantyre on Saturday after short illness.
His death took many Malawians by surprise with many calling the immediate investigations to his sudden death.
John Kaunda, an Uncle to the deceased confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying preparations to take Jumani’s body to Mzuzu are at an advance stage.
When asked as to whether the relatives will continue seeking DNA test t ascertain as to whether Jumani is indeed Kumuzu’s son, Kaunda said the family don’t want to hear anything to do with Kamuzu family at the moment.
He said the family is mourning the sudden death of Jumani.
Meanwhile many Malawians suspect foul play on Jumani’s death.
