Veteran musician Beatrice Kamwendo no more

Death has been announced of veteran singer, percussionist and dancer, Beatrice Kamwendo, a sister to gospel singer Ethel Kamwendo Banda.
Kamwendo died today at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre.
She was one of the few female drummers in the country.
Funeral details are still sketchy at the moment.
