Among 19 countries represented at the African Youth Initiative Forum in ASWAN EGYPT, 31 brilliant ideas were presented to the forum. SAT youth hub was selected by National Youth Council to represent Malawi at the African Youth Initiative Forum. A platform for initiators making a difference in their communities and countries, the categories were Health Entrepreneurship and Environment. Youth hub Malawi made a presentation and a short documentary and came out victorious in the category of health. “Youth Hub was selected to represent Malawi at the Africa Youth Initiative Forum in ASWAN Egypt. The forum had 19 countries to present best practices they are implementing or initiatives they are currently working in line with three thematic areas; health, entrepreneurship and environment. Youth hub made a presentation and showcased a short documentary. And am happy to say we came out victorious in the Health category” Foster Mafiala said in an interview with this Publication. The team comprised of “Foster Mafiala (SAT Youth Hub, Linky dumuka (SAT Youth Hub) and Steve Mb’ayeni (Ureport).

The Malawi Delegation team is one of the winners in the three categories of :Health, Entrepreneurship and environment, after presenting the “The Girl Plan” initiative that increases access to SRHR Services among adolescents and young adults and promoting meaningful participation to achieve health quality and well being in line with SDG3.
